Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of placements do you do?
We recruit for the IT industry and also for Pharmaceutical Companies and Service Industries.

Do you place people abroad?
Hiring is no more restricted only to India. We deal with the global market and postings can be anywhere in the world. Presently, we are working on placements of IT personnel in Japan with specific skill sets in embedded technology and knowledge of the Japanese language.

What fees do you charge?
A1Placements does not charge candidates. Our service charges are paid by the employer. So as an individual, you do not have to pay anything for getting placed.

Where do you source your candidates from?
We have our own database of aspirants who register online through our website. We also work with few associates.

Do you have offices elsewhere in India?
Presently we operate from Bangalore but we have associates in other states. In the next six months A1Placements will extend its presence to one or two other states.

Do you take the candidates permission before sending their details to the clients?
Each applicant is interviewed either personally or on telephone (particularly outstation candidates), and familiarized on the requirements of the client. The CVs are forwarded only with the consent of the candidate.

Do you give information about the Company prior to the interview?

We believe in preparing our candidates for the interview. A1 Placements maintains transparency in sharing information. Just as a Company has the right to the details of a candidate, before an interview, similarly, an applicant too, has the privilege to consider the profile of the prospective organization.

Do you offer any training to those appearing for interviews for the first time?

We assess our applicants and provide training accordingly. Our interview-specific training module deals with overcoming nervousness and helps create a good first impression. However, these programmes are done for a fee.
